Norseman is an 18m (60ft) purpose-designed and custom-made vessel capable of speeds up to 28 knots, and is fitted with the latest in state-of-the-art fishfinding, navigational and entertainment equipment.
Featuring an airconditioned saloon and bridge, fully licensed bar, entertainment centre, expansive rear deck with sportfishing platform, and upstairs sunlounges - Norseman will ensure you will spend more time actually fishing by taking you quickly and comfortably to the best fishing playgrounds the far north has to offer.
Norseman offers daily tours where you can try your hand at landing some of the best fighting and eating fish the Coral Sea has to offer.
Species such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Sea Perch (Nannygai), Mackerel, Cobia, Trevally, Cod, Spangled Emperor and Reef Red Bream (Mangrove Jack) will be targeted using either handlines or rods with overhead Penn reels, and whenever possible, float lines for the elusive GT (Giant Trevally), Spanish Mackerel, Tuna and Wahoo.
Want more, or just want to avoid the crowds? Well, why not arrange a private charter and tailor-make a day to suit your needs. You'll never get bored with trolling, jig, popper, bottom and live bait fishing all on offer or why not cool your heels at one of the many pristine reefs.

  • Provided safety is not compromised, Norseman will still operate in weather conditions which are not perfect (raining/windy), therfore wet weather or warm clothing is recommended during these times.
  • By law Norseman is unable to dispense motion sickness medication. Should you be susceptible to motion/sea sickness, we recommend you consult a doctor or pharmacist prior to travelling and/or take any medication for such illness at least 60 minutes prior to departure.

    Norseman reserves to the right to cancel all trips subject to weather conditions, suitable numbers and any other unforseen circumstances.
    Compulsorary Government Environmental Management Charge of $5.00 per person (excludes children 3 years & under) is payable onboard the vessel on the day of departure. Credit cards will not be accepted as form of payment for EMC.

    All bookings must be confirmed by credit card and/or paid in full to either Norseman or your preferred agent prior to the day of departure. All bookings cancelled within 12 hours of departure are non-refundable. Failing to cancel your booking within 12 hours of departure will attract full payment. Refunds will not be given
